We All have Challenges
Getting all of this stuff down can be so difficult for me, but I don.t let it stop me either way. This is my job now. I'm on my 9 month. I used to be a mechanic for 18 yrs and then in 2012 I had a stroke. It left me with PTSD. The good thing is the military has helped me out.
My days before Wealthy Affiliate was nothing but lying around feeling sad and depressed. In November of last year I got sick of that feeling and joined WA. I must say the challenges for,me have not all been easy. I fat finger the keyboard when I write. My laptop has a mind all its own and changes the size of the fonts all the time. I know what I want to say and type in the wrong word or spelling. It just causes me to lose it. So very aggravating.
I have to constantly go back into the training because of short term memory loss> This can be looked at as either good or bad. Yes I have to take more time studying but it helps me become stronger.
I may not have the level of posts/pages others at WA have but I'm still plugging along. I'm consistent and I try new tactics all the time. I'm still looking for my first referral and first sale. This all happens in time and I can wait. I sometimes need a boost in my confidence as we all do.

Thank you fellow vet! You've come to the right place and yes, all of us have challenges, no matter what they may be. You're doing great and don't worry about the fat fingers. My fingers hit the wrong keys, etc, but I'm trying. Keep going!

First, thanks for your service. I too am a veteran and understand the challenges of service. Have you looked into Gramarly? It is an online writing tool, that checks things as you go. You can also become an affiliate on it, write a blog on it, and get referrals there. What niche are you in? We would like to help, but need some more info... In any event, I want to encourage you to keep with it. You will get there and the longer it takes, the sweeter the victory. We are here for you.

I just learned something a short time ago from edwin who is another affiliate member . If you go to your profile and scroll in it down the right side. when you are in that page, you can take it all the way to the bottom and enter in your own uels for your websites. It is below your accomplishments.
My websites are https://.diabetic-victory.com
https://web-opportunity.com
Thanks. I looked at the diabetes site. First impression is you have a lot of valuable content there. Then second impression was a surprise. The thing that surprised me was the blending of diabetes info and web business info. Both the link at the top and the plugs at the end of the blog post for WA seem surprising and you don’t want to surprise the reader. If they came to learn about diabetes and find links to starting a business, that may turn them off and get them out of the buying mode for diabetes. I would suggest keeping dietary info and links on the diabetes site and business info and links on the web-opportunity site. I believe google also does not like mixing of widely varying keywords and may be penalizing you for that.
Just my $0.02. Good luck to you and above all, keep swinging. You can do it and I look forward to your first successful sale post.
I went into the diabetic site and web opportunity individually and took out all that stuff. I will go back and pull them out.
Hi Bill. I also go back to the training regularly. I am struggling but like you i become stronger over time.
My challenge is time. Your are amazing. Thanks for the blog and stay positive.

I hope you never have to deal with a stroke. It becomes so frustrating. I know what I want to say or write and it comes out wrong. Now I understand why my dad felt the way he did. He had a stroke too. My name is Brian by the way. It's all good.
Brian. Sorry about that. I don't know where I got Bill. Lol!
I am so sorry about the stroke. Get well quickly. Getting older does cause us setbacks.
You will get there.

I love how you look at this :) Challenges make us stronger. Thank you for sharing! I still haven't gotten my first referral but I know it will happen too. And once it starts it's going to keep getting better, right.
I'm so glad it's working for you... it is always a process for all of us but it's so gratifying when things come together. Step by step :)
You appear to be coping well with your life on WA Brian. I am sure you are feeling better having something to do and something to look forward to.

Don't give up sir, you have come this far and are making progress despite the difficulties you have encountered. I believe and know you will make it because you are tough minded due to your military background, so just keep plugging away and you will have your breakthrough.
That's why I keep saying " my name is Elmer Fudd, millionaire. I own a mansion and a yacht" like the cartoon says..
We all certainly do have challenges. It’s how we approach them that will dictate how successful we will be. And you seem to be approaching your challenges really well.
I found the best way to get a little encouragement is to get your posts indexed and ranked. There is a lot of training on WA to do that. The more quality posts you have, the easier it becomes to get ranked as Google begins to recognize your site as being an authority site.
All this takes time and effort, so we keep at it and never give up.
I wish you much success in your online business.

Hey edwin you left a comment to someone else about our websites should be put at the end of our profile at the bottom of the page. That was a great tip.
Elliot. YOU HAVE REALLY INSPIRED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been so distracted. So what I do now, I uninstall Facebook, and messenger, because I have trillions of friends all over the world due to my ministry. But, you telling me about your challenges have really inspired me. Let's keep in touch with each other.
Thanks for sharing!!!!! I truly thank God for you.
Just consider me your WA friend and brother.

Hi Brian! The good news is that you seem determined to succeed, no matter what challenges might come your way. That's great! It causes me to believe that you "will" have successful online businesses. It's not about speed, it's about finishing well.
It seems that we all have our challenges, but we learn more that way. I've had issues with plugins and updates, and have changed themes a couple of times. In fact, I'm getting ready to switch to a premium theme, but now have a new set of challenges in doing that. There's always something more to learn! :)
I also want to thank you for the sacrifices you and your family made as you served in the military. I always appreciate those who have served.
I wish you much success!
Blessings,
Colleen
