what i don't know

So this is day two. My action plan is still going to be frozen for over 2 days :(

So i have found other things to do like set up a squidoo

and a clickbank. I used an article by Carson and one by Potpiegirl to get me started.

I just don't understand the point of squidoo, How do you make money.  I get that you make a lens, but are you suppose to make it relate to something from the clickbank site and just incorporate the link from clickbank into the lens?

I made one lens,....it was not very good and i have no idea if i did it right.  i just wanted to test it out see how it all worked.

I also don't understand why clickbank gives you two links a hop link and the one above it.  Why two?  when i click one it doesn't go any where  the other one will go to what ever click bank is trying to have you sell.

Hey, the two links that clickbank gives are both the same. The upper one is the web address, that if you paste in your address bar will take you to the merchants page and where you can buy stuff. The one at the bottom, is the html version of the same link. The html version means that when you paste the link while creating a webpage, it will make a clickable link. So when people click on that link they will go to the merchants page and can buy stuff. So they are both meant for the same purpose. When you are creating a squidoo lens or anything else, then use the second link.

This may help, the point of Squidoo is to develop free pages that you can use to direct traffic to your click bank affiliates for sales. It also is used to create links to your blogs and website (future) to create higher page ranking in Google (future). However the main reason is to create as many small streams of possible income as possible, one lens will not make you rich. One hundred lenses could provide a larger income. It is a lot of work however it is also the way I have chosen as it is free to do and it only costs me my time.

In ClickBank I believe it's the bottom one. Not doing CB right now, so not sure. Squidoo is a blog where you can include your affiliate link. The article directories will allow you to put in a link to your website or to your landing page only, not to an affiliate link that goes directly to the merchant page. When you submit an article to EZA or ArticlesBase or any directory, include your Squidoo lens link. That is allowed. This practice will give you backlinks to your site, if you have one, or to your Squidoo page where people will be able to click the offer and purchase from you. It only sounds confusing. You've done a lot in one day. Impressed.
