It's Been A Long Time!

Hi, WA family! It's been quite a while since I've actively participated on WA. I haven't left, just had to back off for a while and get my bearings.

Many RL activities kept me from the computer plus I just needed the time to figure out how I want to go about getting a solid online business going.

Real Life

First of all, my daughter is a senior in high school, and for those of you who have been a parent of a senior, you know what a busy year that is! :).

Second, my son just started high school last fall; another busy year.

So, with two teens entering a new phase in their lives, I needed to start them off in the right direction.

We also had some family members pass away since August along with the daily stresses that go along with the "day jobs" my husband and I have.

The Business End

During this time, I let my websites sit for a while. I was a bit frustrated with them, probably because I was TOO focused on "making" them work. I'm still not totally clear on what I really want each of my sites to focus on (with the exception of my bootcamp site.). But, I have learned that I need to slow down, take things a step at a time and to not put so much pressure on myself to become a success.

Moving Ahead

Now that I'm beginning to feel the urge to continue working on my websites, I've decided to take it slower and refocus on providing QUALITY help and to let the NUMBERS (audience, SEO, and eventually, $) take care of themselves. Like with my "day job," if I'm not producing quality work, then, I'm just wasting my time and everyone else's. And time is the one thing no one can afford to waste.

On the happier side of things, I'm glad to be back and I look forward to working with my WA family once again!
