Starting New with Wealthy Affiliate
Well, I have been with WA for going on two weeks and at first frustration and doubt immediately set in. The frustration is from having participated in somewhat similar programs that offered very little or no support, but eager to get more money off of me. Needless to say, I quit with a dent in my wallet which could have gone towards groceries or a bill.
The doubt is from lacking the confidence to face the challenge head on, fearing failure was only a step or two behind me, gaining steam. I have always wanted to be truly independent and financially stable enough that if the economy suddenly took a nosedive and I loose my job, there would be a nice nestegg to cushion the blow.
My joining Wealthy Affiliate, as you may a read in my about me page, is a "leap of faith", move. Those feelings still browed inside and occasionally wanted me to scrutinize WA. However, as I was welcomed into the community with warm greetings and words of encouragement from everyone, those bad feelings faded and have been replaced with determination to succeed.

Hey Brooks, I think your feelings are normal. I know I had them when I joined WA as well. And its because of the experiences of being scammed or joining programs that weren't right for us.
Once I actually interacted with the community and went through some of the training then I knew this was different. Doubts and negative thoughts happen to all entrepreneurs in training. But the great thing about being in a community like this is that you have access to like minded people that have been where you are and are where you want to go.
So you can tap into them for inspiration, help and motivation.

I am happy you are here! I was also completely BLOWN AWAY when I came to WA, I still am to be honest. All the support, encouragement and love is amazing.
I too went through a similar path like yours. I took crappy programs with key information left out or I had the options to upgrade. I was dropshippng for a while with Shopify. Then had a custom store built by Aliexpress which I just received a few weeks ago.
I was searching and searching for a program that is worthy and true that would teach me correctly. And then I found WA or maybe it found me. This place, this community and all these people are truly amazing.
