Today is MY day!

After a long week of family obligations and adult responsibilities, I am finally back here and making this my time again.

It's been frustrating sharing my time when I'd rather be here. I have had to map out and plot my time on my calendar so that I'm taking care of the family needs, but also making that time for myself at WA.

I joined here the same time my husband and I both got new jobs outside of home. I have found that if I don't write down my personal time on my calendar it gets pushed aside and I'm not taking care of what I want or need.

I feel like in many ways, this is part of a new chapter in my life. - Kids are grown and gone, elderly parents need more help, new jobs - It's just a different life's schedule and it's ok. I am just realizing what I need to do for me to be patient with the process, budget time well and not lose faith in myself or momentum and motivation.

I plan to be here for the long run.

Thanks for listening.

Now it's time to get back to work!

It is a delicate balance and sometimes you just lose that balance. It's ok. Life happens and you just come back as you can.

YOu're right, it's a process. I think that when kids are gone (aside from the general HUGE change for parents) a mom has to assess a lot of things-especially their time allotments - and how much of that time just comes back to you! Cheers.
I wish you the best for your internet marketing goals and hope that you won't have to workoutside the home at some point.

What you said here is key, Sherry, "be patient with the process".

Last week was a week that I did very little on my site and went days without being on the WA platform. There had been weeks like that before and I know there will be weeks like that in the future...and it's OK.

It's all about striking a balance: if you know one week you have a lot of personal obligations to tend to, see how you can make up for that time missed the following week.

Not to get too gloomy, but tomorrow is not promised to any of us, so embrace and cherish the time with your family, knowing that you'll always be able to reconnect with the WA community and your business.

All the best, Sherry!
