Stuck
So, I thought I was moving along great, picked a niche quickly, got the site put together to start, I'm on course three lesson four, talking about adding affiliate links, etc. Now I'm stuck on which direction to go. I'd like to add reviews for products both food based and fitness as well as over health and nutrition. Is this going overboard? I feel this way visitors can find everything needed on my site versus going to 15 different ones to get everything they wished to find. I know I would personally appreciate that - I constantly have a billion tabs open on both my phone and laptop.
What do you guys think about this? Too much or go for it?

Personally I don't think it is too much to do all that, but break it down into workable sections and have a plan that you follow so you are not all over the place yourself when you work. I find I am always involved in so much multitasking all the time. When I can I try and focus on specific tasks. I have 4 websites and when I don't have a plan I have a problem lol.
PS I would put your privacy policy in a footer menu :) Do you know how to do that yet? Looks much nicer out of the way!
Thank you - I'll check out the privacy page, if I get stuck with that I'll be in touch for sure :)
I can't even imagine four websites at this point ! I'll start making notes on paper that way i can organize everything there and plan for what will come next because the last thing I want is a jumbled up mess :p
For the footer menu have a look in Appearance then click on Menus. Go play around in there :)
Brittany, Nice site, looks great. add affiliate links and reviews as you go. You can publish then update as you can and republish.

Hey Brittany!
Even though weight loss and nutrition are usually classified under two different niches, I don't think its overboard at all. I also don't see why they are usually classified under different niches because what you do in the kitchen is usually much more effective than work outs and supplements. Bottom line, I find all four of those topics very relative and valuable to each other and I think it will give you plenty of content to write, and products to sell/promote/review for the long term.
I say go for it!!
My thoughts exactly, I just wasn't sure if others would agree, and when it comes down to it - it really does matter what others are thinking. Thanks a bunch for your input! I appreciate it :)
Anytime :)
