It's almost been a week since I joined the wonderful world of Wealthy Affiliate. Have I made money yet? No. But honestly that's okay, and I knew this wouldn't be an overnight thing. I'm learning so much and quickly too. Currently I'm on Course 4 about to complete Lesson 7. Unfortunately, I've always stayed away from social media up until this point because it always seemed to be nothing but trouble and drama - who's got time for that? But, with the lessons come tasks and to keep moving forward I signed up for just about every type of social media there is with a positive outlook. Here's to change! Once I pass through all of the training courses on this end and feel that I can dedicate the time, I plan to start working through the Affiliate Bootcamp. I'm happy to be able to say that I'm part of this community - everyone is so helpful. All feedback is positive if you ask me. Can't wait to keep moving forward on this journey !

Way to go. I think I am like you I have avoided social media other than Linkedin due to Drama as well. LInkedin I used for Job searches and connecting as a network. But I too have joined a few for getting sites promoted. Maybe the more I use them the more beneficial they will be so the more I will like them. I wish you the best with your use as well.
Hi, you should definitely try and use Twitterr for your business. Much easier than Facebook to find business's/groups with your interest that you can tweet to. If you don't know what to tweet at first, you can start by retweeting what your followers are tweeting. Twitter is a great way to send traffic to your site.

Hi, I'm sure you'll get the hang of using Twitter fast. In Twitter's search just type for instance, "healthy lifestyle" to see what comes up. Then just start following companies/individuals that match your niche and interest. You will build a network quickly.

Me myself is very not into social media too, but looks like social media is a need in one or other way to increase our traffic! Had to work on with that.
