Useless Agony, Yes or No?
Well I've spent so much effort trying to find the perfect keywords for my niche that I used all 30 free searches in Jaaxy. This seems a little crazy and that I must be making this way too difficult. Anyone have a similar experience? From what I've been reading in the lessons picking a niche is supposed to be simple, 10 or 15 minutes and move on to building the website. OK, I'm stuck thinking that the has to be perfect, from the perfect niche and keywords to a faultless presentation on the webpage. This is going way overboard. Can someone who experienced the same thing tell me what you did to get out of the analysis paralysis and keep moving?

You just need to make a decision! Don't stress too much, nothing you do is permanent, you can always modify later. It would be helpful to ask for feedback in the classrooms.... more people will be there to comment. Use google as well for keyword suggestions, and dmoz.org
IMHO 15 minutes to choose a niche is too much pressure. They don't want you to overthink it, which is good, but putting a short time limit like that makes it seem too urgent. What are your interests?

Hi SmallBiz101, thank you for the feedback.Ill check out dmoz.org. The problem is I can't seem to focus in on what my webpage is to be on so I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect keywords in several interests to help me decide. Bicycling, meditation, cooking are just a couple of interests. (what's IMHO?)
IMHO = in my humble opinion
Just pick one interest and move on. A little exercise that may help....
Stop looking for keywords until you settle.
Sit down with pen and paper, not computer, and focus on an interest. Give yourself 2 minutes. No more, no less. Set a timer if you need to. In that two minutes write down all the related topics you can think of for a particular niche - these are things you could write blogs posts about. At the end of two minutes move onto the next interest.
When you've finished (hopefully only a few minutes later), see which area of interest stands out. There will likely be one where your ideas flowed more naturally. Maybe you even ran out of time and were still writing down ideas, felt a bit excited by it. This is an excellent niche to start with. You'll be able to write content easily and you will enjoy it. Pick that niche and go with it. If there's more than one like that just make a decision. Flip a coin - whatever - and move on. You can always add another niche later if you want, but just one to start with is plenty.
Hope this helps. If it doesn't, do as Kyle suggests and move onto affiliate marketing training. Give your brain a break :)
ok I settler on a niche and went to pick a website theme, did so but evidently the artwork shown isn't part of the theme, correct. I really liked the pictures and layout but it is up to me to fill that in?
The content is something you need to supply yourself. Writing blogs etc. You can find lots of free resources on the web for photos. The layout is part of the template you've chose, so you can keep that or modify it.
Follow Kyle's tutorials - he will step you through everything you need to do. Don't try to get ahead to fast, you'll only confuse yourself.
And.... congratulations on choosing a NICHE!!!!
Thanks so much. I do tend to bounce around a bit and it is apparent that this is a big mistake in time wasted. I always has trouble following other people's algorithms.
