A "press release" on GooglePlus?

Today I was Googling around on blogging & money keywords and I made an interesting discovery. Our friend Tiffany Addams, tmamarketing, is on page 1 of Google for "start blog make money" for a public post about blogs on Google+. And this is not an exact mach either, but tagged with #blogging.

Do anyone of you have any experience of how well public G+ posts ranks on Google? Maybe it would be a good idea to write a short keyword rich "press release" after every new blog post?

Yea!!! Glad for you Tiffany!

I have been so busy, I did not notice! Woohoo!

I bet you are busy with hall the traffic from page one? ;-)

BTW Is the mail responder you are using any good? Any issues with it?

Good luck to you

I am using Getresponse. (maybe I should add that to my blog). No issues. One thing I have noticed is that yahoo will sometimes put it into your spam folder.. but there are a few tricks to avoid that. One is to make sure the subject does look "spammy" certain keywords will trigger yahoo to put it in the spam. I have noticed that gmail is less stringent. That has been my experience.

- Another good one is aweber. A lot of marketers I know use that service.

Mail from aweber ends up in my spam folder to on Gmail. Aweber is more expensive and have a lower emails per month limit. But I think I will need too collect leads if I get any traffic.

Thanks for the info.

Ask Mark Thompson, Colm Heaney or Wayne Cook. These guys do a ton of posting to G+ and could give ya' a pretty decent idea as to the value of posting to G+.

Wow Anders, that's an awesome article that explains a lot. It also addresses a post that Bothewebguy had the other day about G+ images disappearing. Don't know how ya' found it... but great article!!! Thank ya' much!

That one I found through a search in Google+. There's a lot of good stuff to find there. Keep adding to your circles and start following and things come to you ;-)
