Traffic experiment

Hey Guys,

I like to test out different ideas for myself to see the results and learn about them. Last night i test out these sites like worldprofits, DualSqueeze, SOTAM, and Quantaum Safelist.

The premise was that new members joining have to click through a bunch of sites and this is where a majority of the traffic comes from. In my opinion this was very low quality traffic but since there was a free option it was worthy trying.

I'll break down by each:

Worldprofits:

It was a little bit confusing, but they did have an hour long video at the beginning that explains how everything works. At least they attempted to onboard there members even if the main purpose was to upsell new members to their silver membership. The bonuses they offered for joining were outdated and very basic. To me, the quality of the bonuses usually indicate the quality of the site. If this was 2012 the bonuses would be meaningful and relevant, however it's 2018. They need to revamp their bonuses. Even if they bought some fresh PLR and just put that up that would be better.

SOTAM

This one stated off ok as they offered a solo ad blast to 500 members. They claimed that the some of them are proven buyers. There goal was to get you to buy the upgrade to send out solo ads to 5,000 members called golden solo ads. I did do a solo ad recently for 100 clicks and the opt-in rate was 60% so i took the same exact solo ad swipe from that and did it for this one. The results we 16 clicks and 0 opt-ins. Awesome quality! :)

Also my inbox was getting plagued by their emails. I receive at least 100 emails in 24 hours.

Quantuam

I didn't give this one enough time for one reason. As soon as i signed up my inbox was getting his with 3-5 emails a minute. I unsubscribed right away and quit this one.

DualSqueeze

Now this one is interesting. It does seem to work. Work is being defined as getting subscribers. The premise of this is that there are two opt-ins everytime. So as people join dualsqueeze and start promoting it they are building your list and theres at the same time. I tweeted this out a couple of times telling people this was an interesting way to build a list for free. I had 5 people sign up for this off of 3-5 tweets and the interesting thing is that the list is now up to 20 people and keeps growing from those people promoting dual squeeze. Now the quality of these subscribers is exceptionally low as you don't even collect their first name. The open rate on my autoresponder series is 20-30% and the click rate is 0% atm. Granted its still early but early indication is that these subscribers will not become engaged. DualSqueeze was very clear that it's objective is to build subscribers and it works, but the real key is engaged subscribers and as these people are on multiple lists it will take a much more comprehensive AutoResponder series to stand out.

The conclusion of my traffic experiment is that DualSqueeze is the only one worth considering (and that is suspect at best), however nothing beats the formula of using content on your site and social media to drive traffic.

Oh thanks for sharing this.
And the conclusion is to stay on Social Media and writing content, right?

yes

Very Interesting and informative article! I have never heard of any of these sites, but it was great to read about them. I did learn some things while reading.

For one, I did not know we could do solo ads with our websites.
So, that was pretty interesting.

And, for two it seems like you gained some results for dualsqueeze which is good. All the others seem to be not worth the time...Great traffic experiment!
