Google Ads and $280.28
Hey everyone! Today, I deposited some money in one of my bank accounts and before I did, I went on line and checked out one of my checking accounts. As I was looking, I found out that Google Ads took out $280.28 from my checking account and for what I don't have a clue.
I went to my credit union and asked them for contact information for Google Ads to investigate this matter and they said that they didn't have any idea from Google about a phone number or anything else.
I was shocked because Google denied my application for Google Adsense and I didn't understand why Google took out this money from my account. So I did what any normal person would do - I filed a dispute against Google Ads.
So please, keep a look out for any suspicious withdraws from your bank accounts because if you are like me, $280.28 is a lot of money to lose.
Have a great day!
Danny

Go to ads.google.com and check if you have an ads account with a campaign accidentally left running. Happened to me once. It's nothing to do with AdSense.
Oh my goodness! That is terrible! I am so glad I don't use Google Ads. I hope you can get it back!

I would call them anyways since your identity could have been stolen. I never set up extra broker accounts, yet some years ago someone had enough info to set up 5 accounts in my name using my SS, DL address everything. Lucky for me they were stupid and their mail came to me. Put alerts out and called each place, and fortunately never got money, but caused several months of headaches. The Credit Union will get your money back and do a good trace. Thanks for the heads up, and hopefully you get it all back.
