In a slump?
I just read a helpful article about 5 ways to overcome the slump. These are not my ideas. The article was in mediafeed.org, by Rachel Cooke. So I recommend that you go there if you want to read the complete article.
Here's a summary: 1. What do you miss? The author did lots of corporate training and now that has stopped. Identify what's missing for you. 2. Recreate experiences that will be meaningful. She started to contact people to replace the missing trainings. 3. Find new ways of doing things. 4. Take a break. I've said it before and I'll keep harping on it. Get some exercise! 5. Help someone else! Which is why I shared this article.
I would love to hear what you all are doing to overcome road blocks.
Thank you,
Barbara

Hi Barbara, sometimes I feel like roadblocks find me, but that is another story.
I do try to have balance in my life. It is no good to work, work, work, even if it is your own business.

Right. Balance is one of my goals, but it still seems elusive. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Barbara, a very timely post. I kind of have lost my motivation and do feel like I am in a slump.
I do think exercise is a good way of dealing with this situation. Thank you for the share.
Best wishes,
Michael

I do take exercises and things I love and totally tune out for a time when in a slump- this does help time to time
I will take your advice and try the tuning out. It seems my brain is always running on overdrive.
