1 week solid..
Hello Everyone, well I have been at this for at least a week solid and I have to say this is easier than learning a language with Rosetta stone. I make the comparison because like the language course this has a fantastic immersion into the practical application of what we read and watch being done.
So I did think I was going to start my affiliate career focusing and partnering with WA, I went through the Get Started Here and started on the Affiliate Bootcamp. I'm currently on Course 1 Lesson 8. I was/am stuck. I was struggling with finding my themes and subsequent sub topics to help build my content. Then it dawned on me, like the starter area suggested, find your passion...
So I started focusing back in the Get Started Here courses and the classrooms and the Certification courses. I'm not necessarily working in my passion still as a niche but I am working on something that I am quite familiar with and could build content from through experience and research.
And now here I am building a website, connecting some affiliations and continuing to build content.
My advice to everyone is keep going, it seems hard but it really isn't hard. It is different, you are learning a new language, taking away safety nets and stepping out of the nest hoping to take flight. You will, but not if you don't stretch your wings and trust in yourself.

I can relate to your journey. Funny because I'm in Bootcamp now but, despite what I've heard from some, I was still thinking I need to follow my passion(s) and do other website(s) besides being a WA marketer, I know I will be doing this as I get more proficient at this.
I also liked your analogy to learning the language. I've always wanted to try Rosetta Stone for some time now for the sake of actually getting better at Spanish. It's still on my bucket list but looking more likely all the time.

Having a website up in just a week isn't bad at all!
I also liken affiliate marketing to learning a language. You start off with the basics, and grow your vocabulary from there. Everyone starts off with simple phrases, but if you keep building and immerse yourself, you will be conversational in no time!
Except instead of meeting people in a different country, you'll be making money, lol
Love your comparison to learning a new language. That's exactly what the whole world of HTML/CSS/... and all the other groups of letters is.
