Hey Baldo,
There are sooo many users creating accounts that they need to have a human check that their process could easily take over 3 days to approve.
Every website we create and want to use Adsense on needs to be approved.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks for the reply. My adsense says my site is verified, etc... Can it take weeks for the approval?
Do you know if it would affect anything at all if my original site is not active anymore?
Your old site no longer being in use should have nothing to do with this. My guess is that humans need to check EACH site to make certain the site complies with their standards.

My site is relatively new and I've recently been getting a few emails a day from marketers trying to sell me traffic and other junk. Anyone else experiencing this? And is there
Yes, I used to experience this. I asked a similar question a while back and one of the responses from a fellow WA member pointed me to Google reCaptcha.
This is a Google free service to protect against spam. You'll need to get a Google API Key, and also use a Site Key and Secret Key that they provide.
Here's more info on Google reCaptcha.
https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/
Then to 'connect' this with Contact Forms 7 on your website, you need to do a tiny bit of configuration. The following training by another WA member hits the nail on the head: Learn How To Add a ReCaptcha to Your Contact Form 7 I followed this and I have tested my contact form with the Google reCaptcha. It works. Hopefully no spam or people advertising products or services will no longer make it to my inbox in this manner. Happy Days.
Yes. Akismet and and the capcha usually lessen the amount of them.
So you can only imagine how much you'd get without them.
Hope this helps,
-Jaron
Thanks... I saw someone's post that WA has pre-installed anti-spam, but I don't see it in my plug-ins menu list?
Select Site Manager in WA. Go down to the domain name of interest. On the bottom right of that, there is a details box. Click that. Page down a bit. See "Site Plus + ", the third option there is called Site Protect - Enable that if it is not already enabled.
That is the WA pre-installed anti-spam. No need for a WP plugin.
