Getting Started!

Hello to everyone in the online community here at wealthy affiliates. I recently started my journey looking for success online. I don't know about others but for myself I found seemed to day in and day out get stuck in the black hole of YouTube videos. I would watch video after video of online success encompassing numerous business ideas. Watching it all from becoming an amazon FBA, drop shipping, running an e-commerce store to running Facebook ads.

The options really are endless when it comes to finding something you have interest in. The problem I kept having and I kept asking myself was a few different things.

• How do I become successful like so many of these people online?
• How do I accomplish these goals and where do I start?
• How do I get the training for these things?
• How do I trust the information will help me succeed and not waste my time?

My current situation

A little about me and my current situation. I'm a full time firefighter that's always looking and exploring options of things to do when I'm off duty. Unfortunately being a firefighter and becoming financially sound are not two things that align with each other.

While being a firefighter is my true passion in life and always has been since my childhood I enjoy being online. I have a large interest in most things in the tech world. I run a YouTube channel for firefighter stuff which also leads me to being on the platform watching and learning.

My family grew by one a few years back and we decided that my wife would be a stay at home mom. This has been amazing for the family but not the greatest for our financial situation which lead me down the road of finding online options to work more from home.

My future

currently enrolled in the wealthy affiliate program and looking for online success that I think this program is showing me I can accomplish. After exploring the platform for a week or two I decided to go premium and get the full experience.

My time since I joined has shown me some success although I have not made any money just yet. I realize that will take some time and hard work. I look to take in all the training and also all the feedback that anyone is willing to give me.

Being a firefighter has taught me some things in life that I feel will allow me to find success online. Some of those being hard work, staying positive and the desire to always win and solve problems.
