Progress...
The best way to solidify an idea, thought, and to make it permanent is to write about it. Especially where others can see. It keep you honest in your work, and helps nudge you into action.
So here is my progress to report for me, and if you also would like to see where I am at. Of course your words are always welcome.
First started with what I already know
coffee, hair and health
Then I narrowed that down
Home Roasting Coffee, 100% natural hair care, recovering from Depo
That was the easy part, next came keyword research, I am starting with the coffee.
First I went to google adwords keyword search and found some great keywords, had the data downloaded, put it so spreadsheet so that I can sort it, found a double fistful of keywords that were in the middle of cost and had good search amount.
Took those keywords to google trends, and eliminated the keywords with no trends do downward trends. Found my main keyword that had the only best trend that is spiking nicely, and a few keywords that are trending well, that will make good subs to the main. Added the information to my spread sheet.
Took those keywords to Jaaxy, the Main with awesome trending still is the best, but revised the sub keywords for best use, only lost 1 due to an over saturated market.
I now have 1 main, and 4 subs. Looked up the competition, 3/4 from actual companies, 1/4 other marketers, their information is a bit outlandish, only 1 stood out as having actual experience.
Started on the sub category of coffee, got the several article titles laid out for content. Went to Amazon, updated my old information from ages ago, and did product research. Found most everything that I currently use, except my importer doesn't do 3rd party marketing.
But after I get the site viral, I will be approaching them about opening that up for me, as by then I should have enough traffic to be able to tempt them with increased sales.
That is further in the future though.
The bones for my sub - coffee are laid out, just getting the content worked on before I go live.
Also working on my Main starting umbrella so to speak. Getting my brand established that will be supporting and carrying the niche subs.
Once I launch and get the coffee started, I will be starting on the next subcategory.
To date this is where I am. Besides trying to not catch my sons newest cold. It has been a very past few days.
