Do it faster

I've been building my website for 2 months now and I see others posting that they got their first sale, etc and I barely got any traction on my site. It's not that I'm disappointed or comparing my progress to anyone else's because I have a demanding full time job and I can only work on my business for only 3 hours a day during the work week but I feel like I gotta do it faster.

Thanks To DShensky's post about how often you should post on social media, it gives me a friendly reminder that I need to be more active and build a bigger presence on my social platforms.

I feel like if I can do a little a little more often, I'll be able to do it faster and get to my goal of doubling my income by the end of 2018. At the rate I'm going it's not going to happen. Sooooo

Doing it faster means getting to my goal and I'm dead set on getting there. If you are the same and have a specific goal in mind, you need to find pockets of time to work on your business. For me it means working through lunch, popping in on social during the day (c'mon, we all do it) and thinking about how I can build my business all the time - which I do, but I need to jot down my thoughts during the day so I can expand on it when I sit down to work on my blog to make my time more efficient.

If you have any other ideas or thoughts on how we can build our business faster with limited time in this space, please share!

Thanks for reading!

set your own pace

Ask yourself this question and then answer yourself truthfuly. When do I produce the most relavent copy, pressured or relaxed? The answer will tell you at which pace you should proceed. A deadline is a target, can be unrealistic and can be revised. I suggest you aim for quality and don't be bothered about speed. In your picture I see no wrinkles. You have the benefit of youth. See you at the top. GO WA

Hello Annie,This is a problem of working out your priorities.
What comes first.
Your job,
Home life.
Health.
Website project.
Which is the most important, I would start with your health.
Then make some time for your website,as each target is reached ,set a new one.
If not you will end up all confused ald lost.
I try to think of the big picture all the time, then chip away at it.
Work,Rest and Play.
Enjoy
Bill

It is tough sometimes, with all we have to do in a day. I decided to do one thing that would give me more time, but new I had to add two other things to accomplish this.

I decided to sleep only 6 hrs per day, even on weekends from 11 pm to 5 am. This way, I have a little longer at night and a little more time in the morning.

In order to accomplish this I knew I had to start eating better and exercising so I cut out all bread (white mainly) and pasta (being Italian, this was hard). I also started doing 100 pushups each day. At first, it as only ten at a time but now I am up to 40 at a time (I do 120 now).

By eating and exercising more, less sleep is not bothering me. So far, so good.

Glad you are figuring it out.
