Flyers work!
I`m trying to go gung-ho and do everything that I can to promote WA. Well, I decided I would make up some flyers with pull tabs and put them in the local hotspots around town here with my phone number and an email address that I just created. (pretty small town that I`m in) Well I got two phone calls in one day! I felt like I officially own a business, it felt like the phone was ringing off the hook!! lol.
Anyways, the only thing I can say is was totally unprepared for the calls. I didn`t know what to say or think about what I would do if someone calls, lol. So I don`t think that I sold them, I emailed them the links to WA but don`t see them in my referrals. But it`s ok! I have thier phone numbers and email addresses now. And they contacted me! So I don`t have to feel bad for calling back or emailing them to follow up and see if they have any issues with WA. I know they are interested cuz they called me! However, they needed better direction and more excitement from me I think and because i was unprepared I don`t think they quite understood the concept of WA. Either that or maybe I made it sound like too much work!
If people could comment below and give me some ideas of what you think I could be saying to people that call me off a flyer that they have seen, I would appreciate that. Also just to let everyone know, Flyers totally work, and I am going to be constantly leaving my flyers up around town here. You never know when someones going to bite and so far they have been! Can`t wait till I get my first referral :)

Pretty cool! One of the many ways to invite people to WA. It's good you have their contact informations. Furnish them a buzz and check if they're totally interested. If they do, then advise them to go into Wealth Affiliate and check it out. Remember to furnish your link. Awesome to hear something about flyers. Good job!

I would give a link to your site that promotes WA rather than your phone number. I just don't well with phone sales so that's why I suggest that.
You could also staple a strip of paper along the bottom of the flyer creating a pocket and put business cards for your website in there.
Yes Steve I have pull tabs on the flyers with an email. And phone number included in the top portion of the flyer which I just jot on there last minute. For some odd reason those people decided to write down my phone number instead of pulling the tabs off!! Strange how these things work, think that`s why I said I totally need to blog this one, lol!
I think there are way too many shady people out there to give out a phone number for a business of this nature. People do seem to like to take business cards though. If they go to your site and THEN come to WA through your site, you KNOW you will get credit for the referral :)
That's a great idea Steve! I`m going to look into getting some of those done. I like the personal factor in handing out flyers or business cards. It`s kind of scary to give out a number, but I am in a smaller scale town. Doesn't totally matter if it gets into the wrong hands. I`m going to look into getting the business cards, though. The phone calls worked so good though, I just followed up with both ladies and they still sound interested. So I`m going to have to talk it over with my fiance and see what he thinks. I see. Living in small area I wouldn't be as concerned about the phone number. I live in a city of 200,000 in the scam capital of the world, Florida :)
oh wow! Hey i would trade dealing with a few scam artists to live in Florida ! must be so beautiful:) I'm a big city girl normally but the peace and slow pace of where I am now is so refreshing for my psyche
It certainly is a compromise. I have lived in both kinds of environments and I can happy in either one. I am very fortunate to be able to play music on a beach and make some decent money at it :)
