Hi. This doesn't sound good. If you let your domain expire and now someone else owns it, I hate to say it, but I believe your content has been removed as well.
WA only holds your domain for 30 days after you leave, and when you didn't move it and have it hosted elsewhere, it was eventually deleted. I'm sorry for the bad news.
Hi, I also stepped away for awhile and stopped directing my domain name to WA. I didn't lose my domain name though. Now when I come back to WA my sites are gone. Did I lose them too?

So when I've chosen a niche and have signed up with a specific affiliate program can I than advertise and/or list different brands/items in the same niche or should I dedicate that
You can have different brands and products as long as they are all relevant to the same niche as your website. ~Jude
You will be advertising on your website once it is established with content and ranking with Google. After you are approved with the affiliate site/s of your choice, you can poss ads about products that pertain to your niche. Yes, you can certainly have more than one affiliate link on your website. I suggest that you go to other member's profiles and click on their website to give yourself an idea of how they are set up. This will help you out a great deal. You will also write product reviews of products that relate to your niche. All of this will be covered in upcoming training, so hang in there. You will also have the opportunity to promote Wealthy Affiliate and this training is found in the Affiliate Bootcamp. (A separate set of training)
Hi. You should try and promote items that are relevant to your niche and you don't have to limit yourself to just one affiliate program. Many people use more than one affiliate source on their website.
When signing up with an affiliate program.?
