My First Month on WA - The Ups & the Ups

Hey Team,

I've finally reached the stage in the WA training where i pen some of my thoughts about the WA program and my experience today. I hope somebody out there will find my experience useful and can learn or take comfort in what I have and haven't achieved. Feel free to drop me a comment or private note if you want to discuss in more detail.

Your progress thus far:

I have been using WA for just under a month (1 day to go) and i'm already considering upgrading to yearly. I have found the training very educational and the ease of the use of the site is great. It really compliments how i learn which is watching and then doing with my own twist on it. I have always struggled with writing and spelling and having to write a 1000 word peice of content has always seem daunting to me and only a month ago i would of told you was impossible. In this month I have managed to get my website up and running (www.surfingforbeginners.com) and in the short space of time i spent on the design (1 lazy sunday) I am proud of the look and feel considering this was my first time building a site. I admit I had help and purchased Elementor Pro but for me this was the right choice and made everthing so much eaiser. (Damn this would be a great place to put in an affiliate link).

Your niche that you are working within:

Choosing my niche was hard. I've always been somebody who never really had a hobby. I just did a bit of everything. Whenever I went surfing I really enjoyed it and realised recently I tend to book my holiday around the idea of there being waves at the beach. As a realtive beginner to surfing and something I thought would be easy to brand i chose my niche. That is how i ended up with surfingforbeginners.com. Watch this space if you are interested in some mediocre advice about the best way not fall of your board.

Any successes (not just financial, but things you are proud of):

I'm yet to strike gold, but I recognise that this isn't an overnight program. In fact i haven't even started mining for gold yet. I've merely layed the track on the way to the mine. As mentioned earlier my mini succeses has been showing my site to my friends (www.surfingforbeginners.com) and hearing the words 'did you make this?'. I am also able to write content (of a 1000 words or more) much quicker than before. It took me days initially, compared to 1 and a half hours for a post i penned yesterday which I will upload shortly.

Your plans and goals in the upcoming 3 months:

My plan for the next three months is focused around building out content. I plan to get a rigid strucutre in place for the type of content and how often i should be creating it. I will also finish painting the walls of my site and ensuring any leaky pipes are fixed. I plan also to build on my social presence for each of the major sites. Not to mention following the WA Training.

Your plans and goals in the upcoming 6 months:

My 6 month goals are unclear at present. My only hope is that I make at least one affilate sale in that time to keep my motivtation up. I recognise that this is an uphill slog in sticky mud to reach the dizzying heights of affilate success. I plan to take it one muddy boot at a time.
