My first Subscribers!
I am super excited! I received three subscribers to my blog! For me this is a fantastic Christmas present! LOL I have also received comments on several of my blog posts from random people! This feedback is so motivating and wants me to keep pushing even further!
My time here at WA has been amazing! And I owe my new subscribers and comments to WA!
If you are trying to get more interaction on your website, I have learned to simply just ask for it! At the end of all my blog posts, I always write a question to strike up a conversation and ask my readers to comment below. I use the wordpress plugin called popupally that is amazing! It looks super professional, and it's a way to ask for people to subscribe! I also try to be personable in the way I use language on my blog. For example, if someone subscribes to your website by providing you their name and email, instead of writing "This is to confirm you have successfully subscribed to ...." I write something like "Yay! So glad to have you join me here!" It really makes people feel like they are talking to a human, and not a computer generated message! You basically want to have personality, and this ensures people feel like they know you, which then makes them want to sign up! In my ten years of owning a small business, I learned that people don't actually purchase your product/service, they purchase the product/service because they made an emotional connection with the person selling the product. It's all psychological. So to get people to provide their name and email address, you must strike an emotional chord with them first.
And one last thing I learned just yesterday, was how powerful Google+ is!!! Oh my Word! I knew about Google+, but I felt it was just one more social media account I had to keep up with, so I never created a profile. Well it was part of the lesson on WA, and once I did, I noticed more traffic to my blog! Amazing!!
This is only a small success for me, but I know that every small success, leads to one big SUCCESS! So ready to see what 2016 brings!
Tell me about the first time you got feedback or a subscriber to your website? I want to hear your story! Or if you have yet to get any subscribers or comments, tell me what you feel your struggles are! Maybe there is some suggestions I can give to you!

Ashley. I love your approach and it seems to be working for you. I've always asked for comments at the end so do many don't. But I still press on, and you are right those small ones do led to the big ones. God bless you!
