My first impression

When I visited their site for the first time, I'll be honest, it didn't look like much.

I think that's what won me over, the simplicity. To me personally, it's very similar to the FB platform. News in the center and controls on both sides(PC), super simple. There are almost 2 million registered affiliates have joined this amazing platform.

It's a blogging website, and beyond. ON STEROIDS!!!

Strategies learned here can be applied in any business involving online marketing. Get your site on the 1st page on Googe for FREE. I've only been here for a couple of days and already know how Google ranking works, which was always a mind boggle to me. You have everything you need to start and grow. Possibilities are up to you.

The support

I was shocked. I have been online for around a year, and I have never experienced better support anywhere else! I was completely blown away. Not just from the support teams or admins, but everyone on the platform, well everyone who noticed a new guy, there's almost TWO MILLION people on the platform. Most are very kind to offer their help, for nothing. You can offer your help too to help future members feel welcome. :) Not mandatory though! Lol

If I knew what I know now, I would've started affiliate marketing a long time ago. Hassle-free business, literally. No angry customers to deal with or products to source or ship, you're selling someone else's products or services, that's it. There's a reason why some people been doing this for over ten years.

More or less, all of the big internet gurus started with affiliate marketing, but they never tell you that.

My first steps.

Started with promoting the Wealthy Affiliate platform. The way I figured, if I work for them, I get better support or offers and such :)

I have some experience with WordPress. I have to confess it made it a little easier. DO NOT BE SCARED OF WP(WordPress) It's the most straightforward web builder out here. Youtube is an excellent source of information. Make sure to watch later videos, not the ones from five years ago.

I started watching training videos right away. There's tons of information. I suggest you don't waste your time, signup(free), and start learning. Whether you're a complete newbie or a pro, you'll have something to brush up on.

I paid for the first year, which works out about a dollar a day. Pretty good deal considering that some affiliates making over 20k/month. Some achieve that Within their first year. You can do a lot with a FREE version too.

I just started this journey, so there's nothing to brag about, yet ;)

It's a no brainer

You can't fail this. The support and training you get here will get through to you, no matter how stubborn you think you're. If you work on it for at least until you watch all the training videos, trust me five videos in you won't want to turn back. Just think about it, all you need to do is sit down and watch some videos for a few hours a day, make sure your brain is ON. It happens to me sometimes. I can't remember how many times I was watching a tutorial and caught myself thinking about what will I need to do next, completely ignoring the screen lol. I always watch a full video once, then watch it again, but this time I'm following step by step on a different device.

Magic

Once you finish the initial setup, Google will do what it does best, ranks your site. That's how yours and other websites appear in various positions on google pages. Everything will be explained in detail.

Work your ass off!

Everything you'll ever need to be successful is here, just use it, if you not sure how to use it, just ask, and you will be answered :)

Keep up to date!

Set up once, update it once or twice a week, done.

Practice makes it faster. When you are working on your website for the second time, you'll notice that your build time is cut in half, if not quicker, you'll know almost everything by heart after your third project. It will become a routine, and you'll be spitting out websites in minutes.

Eventually, all you need to do is to answer people's comments or add new content if you find something relevant or informational worth mentioning to your audience.

Suggestion

The biggest and best blog site gets personal, admins treat their followers like family or a friend. Wealthy Affiliate is a perfect example, and they encourage us to do the same. Treat your followers, friends, clients, customers with respect and appreciation, and you'll go all the way.

If you can post content online, and get people interested, you must answer followup emails, messages, or comments. Update it(add content) once a month, at least, and you'll earn people's trust. That's the only way to go, team up, and conquer.

I know its a cliche but If I can do it ANYBODY CAN!

I was struggling at first, big time.

English isn't my 1st language. I'm Lithuanian, the good thing that I lived in the United Kingdom for the past 15 years. My English is ok, I can read and write no probs, but the creative side is letting me down.

I have like a thousand ideas to write about in my head, but as soon as I start typing, everything just disappears.

Frustration was tough to deal with, as no one's getting any younger lol, tried to write about myself, that didn't work, nothing spectacular, just an average life, maybe this will spice it up a little haha. I decided to write about the Wealthy Affiliate, to begin with. Or should I say? My journey with them.

I have no idea what's going to happen, I'm only a few days in, but I have that feeling that this is going to work, meaning I don't want to learn any other ways to make money online, affiliate marketing is most appealing to me. Tried a few different ones in the past, but that's for my next post ;)
