So what is a passion?

As I came here to Wealthy Affiliate (WA), all I knew was that I wanted to make money on the internet, and I knew I wanted it now. As I searched even before WA, I kept hearing find you a niche, something you are passionate about. I felt lost and never could get anything off the ground, until I found my way to the training at WA. I decided, that even though I have never been good at following things step by step, I would do it, I would make myself do it so I could know that I did everything right, or at least as right as the training was. So I picked my first passion and that was finding ways to help others, and following Kyle, one of the founders of WA, and the more I followed along the more excited I got, My second passion became WA, and I was off.

Suddenly I was finding multiple passions, niches, that I could get into. For those that know me, they know I had a Chondrosarcoma in my left leg that called for total amputation of my left hip and leg. This became my "WHY" for getting my business of the ground, I had to find a way to provide for my family quickly because, although they got the cancer from my leg it had moved to my lungs and was not getting better. This scared me and I knew, as we all do, my days were numbered, and now I basically knew it was coming. Boom! another passion, my life with cancer.

Well, now I was rolling, however, the excitement became overwhelming and I forgot where to start, so I started here, what could I write about passion and where to find it? The passion came from my heart so I wrote from the heart. With all these new ideas in the works I started writing them down, just as the training taught me. While I was writing I realized what true passion was, and where it came from, it comes from the heart. I gave up on the idea of finding the "PERFECT" niche, and decided I would just write for me. I want other people to read what I write, I feel as though I have a lot to say and share, but if my writing was going to be authentic, it had to be from me for me, that would be as real as it gets.

So, if anyone reads this post, they will know where I am coming from. If anyone else is being successful with their posting they know what I am talking about. Passion is where the heart is, passion in everything from where you work to where you live. Passion is what keeps us joyful, that doesn't mean happy all the time, just filled with joy because we are doing what we love. If we do not do what we love and just work for money true happiness will never come.

I also have one other passion I want to share, I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He is the most important passion in my life. Because of Jesus I am comfortable with where I am at, I know my time here on earth is short, but because of Jesus's Passion, I am going to meet Him one day, more than likely sooner then latter. My passion for Him keeps me joy-filled even in my darkest moments.

My family too, is a major passion of mine, they keep me going while I am here on this earth, and give me a reason to fight the good fight and keep on keeping on. I have six children and sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Talk about passion, I am filled with more passion than I even realized.
