Procrastination
Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog about PROCRASTINATION, and as I sit here writing this I almost put it off until tomorrow.
Procrastination is a strange animal, for me it is a crutch I use as an excuse to not have to get anything done and then blame it on other things as to why I just could not get it done.
Procrastination stands in our way all to often, because it is just easier to sit by and watch as life passes us by so we can come up with excuses as to why others are doing better than we are.
Procrastination is one of the tools in our toolbox that we should never have bought. It is like the tools I often bought when I worked on cars, the tool man would come by and I would see a good looking tool, probably one I would never use I bought it cause it looked cool. Procrastination sounds like a good idea at the time, but we should never use it.
Procrastination will never get anything done, it will never help you in any way, but like a drug it is addicting, the more you use it the more you want to use it.
Procrastination was my friend, and I was always told by others "Don't put off till tomorrow something you can do today." while my motto seemed to be, "Why do today what I could just as easily do tomorrow."
I think of all of us here at WA and I wonder, how many of us live by my motto? I bet if I could get a number it would be quite high, or maybe I believe that because I want to be in good company.
Truth be told success in anything awaits all and any of us. it awaits us today, but if we pull out the procrastination tool, then success waits on us till the next day and the next day and the next day.
So, today I challenge you, make a list today of what needs to be done, then prioritize that list most important to least important, then start immediately from the top and complete as many of the items on your list as you can. Then I challenge you to do the same tomorrow, and the day after that for an entire week, and see how much you get done and how much closer you are to your success goal. After you complete a week, then go for a month, then, if you read this and if you tried it, come back to this post and tell me what you think.
Please do not start this tomorrow.

Procrastination IS something to begin tomorrow. (that is simply because tomorrow never comes ;) )
I needed to read this today, Arthur, Seems that tool has been showing up in my hand all summer. I am always busy around my home doing things, my way of just piddling. Now that summer is over I have nothing to be proud of on my online businesses. I will have to work extra hard now to get momentum to get back in the race. Thank you for sharing.

Trust me, I know where you are coming from, I procrastinate out of fear of failure, yet by procrastinating I ensure failure, strange how that works out.

Love your challenge! I just posted something today similar to that about excuses, etc....asked for help.... well no more. I finally posted my first post on my website as well as my blog on my WA site... I need to get more motivated, and create the time to work this, cause it won't happen without me, I think getting on here everyday will do just that. Keep trucking, never give up and never be afraid to ask for help, cause we can sure get enough of it here....
