Are You A Pizza Lover?

I just ate at a pizza restuarant here in Memphis, (see the review here https://memphisreviews.artklemme.com) and I was thinking, what do brick and mortar businesses have in common with online businesses? and what are some of the differences. So I figured I would list my thoughts here and you tell me what you think?

.

What are the similarities?

  • They both have a common goal, to grow and help the owner become financially independent, and be their own boss.
  • Both require time and effort to create the desired end result
  • Both require some financial investment if they are going to achieve the desired end result.

  • Both can create jobs for others if they grow past what they themselves can do
  • Both can benefit from word of mouth advertising
  • Both need to understand where there customers or clients are coming from and how to best reach them
  • Both need to create an inviting environment

What are some of the differences?

  • Online businesses can grow more easily into an environment that will create residual income. (Truly this is the desired result)
  • If you are building your online business and feel like you need a break it is far easier to take a day off and away then it is in a brick and mortar environment.
  • You can start an online business with nearly a $0 investment

  • With an online business networking is more powerful and outsourcing certain aspects of the business can be more cost effective
  • Word of mouth or should I say in the case of online marketing, viral texting advertising can reach far more people in a far better targeted area
  • While creating an online business finding customers and clients can be more targeted and also reach more people to generate more income
  • With an online business it is easier to change direction, you can tear down what doesn't work and build on a new idea for almost nothing

What Do You Think?

There are many more I am sure but these just came to mind and I was hoping to get some others ideas on what else makes us different. One thing I found when looking at this was why not invest more time and energy into a business that has a higher profit potential, and a far less loss potential.

Don't get me wrong, with all the scammers out there you can lose a lot of money, but I feel it is easier to spot a financial problem earlier in an online business than in a brick and mortar business, and you have a clearer view of where you money is going.

So what does this have to do with pizza?

Well while at Aldo's Pizza Pies in Memphis, I noticed that they opened their first store in 2012 and then were able to add a new location in 2015. It was obvious to see why they were able to grow, great people, awesome food, awesome service, and with believable smiles. But now I look at myself, although I started playing with this business many times over the years, I did not take it seriously enough until this year and let's look at what I did.

I will say I opened my first Store in March of this year and had my first sale shortly there after. Since then I also created an online presence know as Virtutem Central which has grown into a family of sites. We have stores, we have affiliate marketing, we have multiple review sites we have blog sites, and video blog sites. All toll I have opened seven separate businesses, possibly more and my out of pocket expense does not even equal a tenth of what the pizza place had to spend on the one location.

I have the ability to reach more people in less time then they did. I may not be bringing in as much on the front end, but my long term and residual income will far surpass what they are doing.

What does this tell me?

It tells me I have been going all wrong at life for at least the last 20 years, the money I wasted on big boy toys, and on businesses I was in could have had me set for life, but here I sit, behind the 8 ball, life is getting away from me and now I have to work double time if I am going to help others, most especially my family, before God calls me home. So where does this leave me? It leave me with on final question that I do not have an answer for.

WHY?

This could serve as a good review blog that leads people to WA!

Well, I would have to change it up because you cannot post the same blog in two places. But thank you for the thought and comment, I may try and think about it. I did do a review on Aldo's you can find it here:https://memphisreviews.artklemme.com/

My grandson loves pizza to the point where he eats the cardboard on the box

I love Pizza I can eat every day

You will do well. Better late than never. You have a good attitude

I love business and I LOVE pizza (I get my fill at least once per week), so this post is definitely relevant to me.

One thing that I think that strikes me as the biggest difference between offline and online business, is the size of the audience. Many people worry about their niche not having enough potential or a big enough audience.

Are there enough people that like "basketball shoes" online? Then, when you think about all the offline businesses in every city, our small city of 400,000 people has no less than 50-60 stores that sell basketball shoes, all of whom have been in business for many years, so they must be turning a profit.

Then within the online world, there are 3.75 BILLION people online. Is there room for 10 websites in the space? Yes, 1,000's actually, if not 10,000's of successful sites, if not more.

No niche is too narrow online and all niches have exponentially more potential than any offline business.

Thank you Kyle for taking the time to read my post, you are truly an amazing person, first for just being you, an awesome person, and then for creating a site like this, with all the tools you provide at a price so low, that no one and I mean no one has an excuse to say they cannot do it. You are forever on my prayer list, cannot wait to meet you in Vegas.

It sounds to me like you have already made your decision. Online it is.

So very true, only wish I had pushed myself harder a lot earlier, good thing is, it is never to late to start, especially if you have decided not to stop till God calls you home. Thank you for the reply.
