Mothers Love - Tribute To My Son - Part 3
I was there to kiss away the pain when you hurt yourself, which was a lot, as you were wild and always lacked the understanding for the consequences of your actions.
Many times you made my heart skip a beat, my breath get stuck to my throat as you scared me to death with one of you stunts including:
- Falling from the table
- Getting hit in the head by a ski cabin
- Being kicked by the horse
- Being butted by a cow
- Falling out of the tree
- Being tugged away by currents and waves
- Being pulled away by the ski lift
- Experimenting with alcohol
You were also twice really really ill with pneumonia.
But you pulled through all the troubles and were patched up with stitches to mend your wounds and operations to put together your broken bones.

I have only just learned about the shocking tragedy that has befallen your family, and the loss of your beautiful little boy Davin. I am reeling in sadness and grief for your family in this time of unthinkable devastation.
I'm lost for words, but I want to extend my sincere sympathy, sadness and love to you.

Hannah, like all friends on here, we have been sharing your grief and sadness over the last few weeks, ever watching for the e-mail that would give hope and encouragement of some inkling of recovery.
Sadly that was not to be and we now have to try, as parents (and in some cases grandparents) to bond with you in your sad loss.
It would be easy to say we know how you feel, but in truth, only those who have experienced the passing of a child can truly understand how you and your family have tried to cope with this loss, and the rest of us can only stand back and commiserate and respect your bravery and care in this situation.
I hope I speak for all members of this community in wishing you our most sincere condolences and I know you will never forget Davin for the rest of your life.
