Take a Break
If you're like me, once you get momentum going you want to keep it up at all costs. Unfortunately, life tends to have other plans sometimes. In my case, I've got a car with a leaking radiator and two kids trading illnesses to keep up with. As much as it'd be nice to fit work in at any given opportunity, sometimes there's just not enough energy for it.
When this happens, it's best to think of something small you can do that keeps the momentum going but doesn't require as much as energy. Maybe it's re-reading a lesson in the courses here on WA. Maybe it's making a small tweak in the appearance of your website. Maybe it's planning out more articles to write.
Whatever small action you take, be proud that you're continuing to move forward rather than beating yourself up for not getting as much done as you wanted. If you get hung up on what you're not doing, you'll find it easier to give up completely. Positive thinking is key to progress, don't be hard on yourself!

Very good advice. Life does sometimes take over and if you are in paid employment you have the opportunity to take sick leave or annual leave or reduce your hours. However, when you are running your own business you need to keep some momentum going yourself.
You are so right that even if you just do a minor tweak on your site or read some content on WA it's about staying connected and not losing site of your end goal.
What I find helpful is to keep a list of things I want to do or achieve. I then write down what I want to achieve the next day. My list today was rather large and I'm still working through it but seeing thinks crossed off is helping me feel like I've achieved something.
