This is my first blog. Not sure what a blog is or its purpose. Am I talking to myself or to an audience? In school my teacher wanted us to write a daily journal of our activities. I assume it was to read at a later time and remind ourselves of where we started and to see our progress through life.

I fell out of practice writing my daily journal, and treated it like work instead of using it as a tool to grow. I started my journal something like this. Today I am writing my daily journal today about writing my daily journal. Whew 11 words out of 200 words and my mind would go blank. I couldn't concentrate on what it was my teacher wanted.

Today I wish I could look back on those journals I didn't write. I'm sure I could write a book with all that has happened during my life. Successes, Failures, the good times and bad, the lessons I've learned. I always think, If I could go back and change a few things maybe I wouldn't be in the situation I am in now.

Well thinking back I wish I would have done things a bit differently. I should have bought waterfront property years ago. Waterfront properties have continued to appreciate. I should have saved money earlier. My retirement would be very comfortable, instead, partied and wasted my time. I should have stuck to the daily journal, stuck with owning my own business sooner. Failing business, not because I quit, but because I had opportunity to build one but didn't take.

I will not let this opportunity (WA) pass me by like the boat I missed investing in Microsoft when it was still in version Windows 3.0 or Google or Bitcoin way back. This time I will follow through with persistence and hard work unlike when I was younger and less patient.
