Having Consistent Joy in any Circumstance

James 1:2-4 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Joy is designed to give Christians strength. In the world today, strength and courage is crucial for a Christian. We should pull strength through our joy when we realize that a loving GOD has saved us from spending eternity in Hell. When Christians are filled with the joy of Christ, it will show in our actions and how we treat people and how we deal with adversities. Joy also allows us to grow through trials and tribulations.

When we are going through trials and tribulations, often times it is difficult to have joy in our hearts. Even as believers, when we are going through those "hard times", many of us find it difficult to be happy. As Christians we can depend on the promises of GOD to never leave us or forsake us to give us strength. In order to feel joy during hard times, we just need to remember that GOD will work everything for our good

You were created to live a life full of joy and your joy should not be determined by what you have nor is it based on what you do not have. Your Joy is a gift from GOD and like all of GOD's treasures, joy is free. When you have joy there are always going to be instances of someone trying to take your joy from you but you must remember that your joy belongs to you and no one can take it from you.
