Creating a Favicon for your website
For anyone who is trying to create a favicon for their website, I am here to help. YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN DOMAIN!
1.) Download FileZille (it's free), then open it.
2.) Go to Build my website>domains>view (under domain access)
3.) Copy the name of your website into the Host box on FileZilla. Make sure to replace the "http" with "ftp"
4.) Then put in the user name and password from the domain then click "quickconnect" (leave port number blank)
5.) Go to: http://realfavicongenerator.net/. then follow instructions from the website
6.) Using FileZilla, your root directory is: httpdocs
7.) To find <head> on your website go to: appearance>editor>header (on right column). Find the <head> then copy the code that http://realfavicongenerator.net/ gave.
8.) Click update file. Then your done!

randomly just discovered the site http://realfavicongenerator.net/ and then found your post. I definitely concur they are awesome. I always just manually made my own but I wasn't aware that with all the new devices that are out there now you need a bunch of different ones to cover your bases. excellent post. Thanks for sharing!
