What Will Happen Next With The COVID-19?
Hey WA family!
I don't want to sound alarmist, but there have been a big evolution with the COVID-19 in the last few days in my country and I have some questions.
First, where I live in Quebec, Canada, they decided to close every school in the Province for the next 2 weeks. They also forbidden any events with more than 250 people. Just so you know, there are 19 cases detected here.
What is not cool for me at the moment is that the research center where I work is in a school, so by closing the school, I cannot work. My online business cannot support all of my expenses at the moment. We will know this afternoon if we can do our job from home.
Now, enough worried about my situation. My interrogation is more about affiliate marketing.
How hard this virus will affect online purchases?
Do big companies will have to close their doors if it becomes too important? If so, people that are buying online won't be able to receive their package, right?
I know that if it's only a "pause", things will get back to normal after, but during this "pause", how will affiliate marketing deal with it?
I hope everyone is doing fine. I pray the world will be able to go through this obstacle without too much damage. 🙏
And you?
Are you asking yourself questions about the impact of COVID-19 on affiliate marketing?
Let me know what you think!

Hi Audrey, this is an insecure time the world is facing. But there is always hope, that all will not turn out as some worry.
I hope that you can work from home with your job. And, I hope that all this unknown scare will pass with time.
Sending prayers your way.

Thank you Ray. Fortunately, my coworkers and I prepared this morning a plan in the case we couldn't come to work. We will be able to work from home.
Hoping it won't be make too many damages!
It will surely have impact. Whenever jobs and incomes take hit, spending will also take a hit. This is an economic cycle, online and offline.
Affiliate marketing will also be affected by your niche. Travel niches may slow down while e-Commerce for essential items may increase.
I believe once the spread is under control, we should be back to normal, unfortunately the timeline for that is minimum 2 weeks at least.
