Helping Baby Boomers Get Outdoors

Rather than trying to profit from my existing websites, by haphazardly adding more affiliates and Amazon links, I decided to create a new website that complements my main outdoor enthusiast oriented site. I call it Power to Explore. The focus is on health issues of baby boomers with emphasis on ailments and resolving them so outdoor activities can remain a part of our aging lives. I am a baby boomer, so I can relate.

The plan is to work on this site through the WA program and see where it leads. If it ultimately ends up financing my other websites - that's great with me.

I started with SiteRubix, but since I've done a lot of Wordpress sites for myself and my clients, I felt that system was too confining. I went ahead and bought a domain name from myself and since I am a reseller of domain hosting, I also got that from myself. If you want to do something like that, let me know and perhaps I can help you make it happen.

Then I just started tracking through each of the training sessions one every day or two. I make sure I do everything so I can honestly check off the boxes at the end of each lesson. I now have my main pages done and several fairly meaty posts. The folks here have been great about reading my posts and offering their comments - I appreciate it.

I do have some trouble with the discussions. I get emails so I know people have offered advice, but I have a heck of a time finding that input amongst the thousands of posts out there.

I really enjoy coming up with ideas for posts then finding the information I need to add some authority to my experiences. I had a Google+ account, but never did much with it. Today I created a circle for WA people and reviewed a bunch of profiles to find people I thought might be interested in what I'm doing and that looked like they had interesting things going on. Now I have a bunch of new friends in my WA circle.

My goal is to work through all the lessons at the rate of one every day or two. I don't know if that will take a month, three months or whatever because I haven't looked ahead to see just how many lessons are available.

and so it goes.

5 levels of 10 lessons each at a rate of one per two days will take you a little over three months, which is exactly what I did.
