Some Of Us May Be In Breach Of Flaticon's Terms And Conditions
About two weeks ago I was researching how to create a logo for the my Super Affiliate Challenge (SAC) website, having failed to find what I was looking for in Canva. I read some information about a site called flaticon.com and followed the suggestion to look in there for a suitable image to use.
I soon found exactly what I was looking for and downloaded the image to my desktop, before trying to import it to Canva and editing it produce a satisfactory logo. Unfortunately I was unable to come up with anything that I really liked, mainly because of my own technical limitations. After a while I became frustrated and set it aside for another day.
Well, "another day" finally arrived today and I set about finding an appropriate video by googling something along the lines of "create a logo using flaticons."
The very first link I clicked on lead to the following message:-
Since Flaticon holds the copyright of all of our resources, you are not authorized to use our resources fully or partially to create logotypes as our resources cannot be associated with trademarks. Please note that this applies to both free and premium members.
To ensure a responsible use of our resources, you can find our Terms of Use in the following link: https://www.flaticon.com/terms-of-use
I would be surprised if I am the only one who checked out flaticons.com and suspect that some of us would have gone on to utilise this in our logos. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for anybody affected, but I think it might be prudent to redesign our logos using alternative resources.

I do not use flaticon but this type of thing is scary. I often wonder if there is something I am doing that is against some regulation.
There are so may I can’t keep up with them. So that makes your post very important. Thank you.
