What do you really want in life?

Do you love to travel? Have that perfect relationship? Live in you dream home? What to start a family? Want to stay fit and healthy?

Whatever you desire, one the most fun, easy, and powerful tools you can use to clarify your desires and attract what you want into your life is a vision board.

How to make your own?

Creating a vision board is really pretty easy, all you need is a piece of cardboard or form core, a pair of scissors, tape, glue, and a stack of magazines, cut out images that appeal to you. Images that make you feel powerful and delicious and represent what you want to attract into your life.

Do not place limits on your board. Create a vision board is a time to let go of the limits on our dreams. Cut out pictures that illustrate things you really want, not things you think you want or things you think you can actually get. The images chosen should mean power for you. Let them be playful, joyful, and inspiring.

They don't have to make sense on a literal level. In fact, it better to choose images based purely on the feeling they evoke from you. Could be a feeling of a home, love, or a gut reaction of YES!

Do not limit yourself to photos, either. You can select words, phrases, favorite affirmations, even swatches of fabric or color you love.

Once you have gathered a bunch of materials for your vision board, you'll want to sort through them and choose the items that move you the most. Remember, this is a highly personal collage. Put anything you like. But remember, the rule is that a vision board has to feel good when you look at it.

After you are finish, position your vision board where you can see it often, such as on the wall across from your desk or in your bedroom. If you are concern about people trampling on your dreams, it is fine to keep your vision board someplace private or simply tuck it away in a closet or under the bed whenever people come over.

Now relax and trust, knowing that what you want is on its way to you. The simple act of creating a vision board will get the attraction process going, transforming your dreams into day-to-day reality.

Other Options - For kinesthetic learners, getting the scissors, glue stick and creating a physician vision board is really a joy. But if you are computer-oriented, several websites enable you to create a vision board/slide show online, often for free and they're easy to update as your dreams evolve.

There is a new product called thelifeboard.net, there you can integrate the vision board process. The kit includes a board with color-coded areas for prosperity, friends, travel, career, success, love, children, creativity, knowledge, education, family, and health. A journal is also included for you to do some dreaming and visualizing. This allows you to track things as they manifest.

Have you created your dream board? Do they really work? Please comment below.

Cheers

Tony

We had a vision BOX once, which must have got thrown out when we moved. We had Lots of cut out snippets in it. The trouble with it was, you forget what you put into it, and you don't go back and look into it.
A vision Board is definitely the better way to go.

Everyone needs a "Dream-board"

That is a great idea. I think it would be great as a project for my 6th graders next year. Youngsters ate not focused enough on their potential. This idea would also work as a phtoshop collage. We use our refrigerator to post inspirational messages and goals as well. Great idea!
