Love and Relationships Advice
In order for a relationship to work there must love and the love for each other must be unconditional. Growing up, I never really gave love that much taught. Find someone, ask them out for a date, then they became your girl friend, and you made plans to marry, find a home, and have children.
Only later to find out years into the relationship that the lady of my dreams is no longer the lady of my dreams. As well as my pursue of happiness, I ended the marriage and start looking for the next lady of my dreams. After setting up boundaries around my heart, that lady of my dreams never came. Sure I was in and out of relationships but none of them lasted for any amount of time and the ones that did eventually ended in failure.
Everyday I marvel at all those big companies and TV shows making millions and millions of dollars providing services for people to find their soul mate. Easy right, answer a few questions, they pair you off, you date, get married and live happy ever after right? No, when it does not work who do you blame, yourself, your mate, or God? The notion of finding the perfect man or women without doing a little work is a fairy tale in my opinion.
Have you ever wondered why you keep attracting the same kind of people? We all have preconceived notions about how a relationship should be and unfortunately for this reason we end up dating the same kind of people over and over again. Trying to find a partner to make you happy when you are not happy with yourself will only create conflict and sooner are later cause a break up or divorce.
In order to be happy we must let go of those things that caused our relationships to fail, those preconceived ideas. Try something different because what we have done so far in search of the perfect soul mate has failed up this point. Concentrate on learning how to love yourself first and loving others will come naturally.
The one thing I have figured out about unconditional love is that it causes not pain and always finds a way to make things better. If you are unable to comprise, consider remaining friend until you both are ready. Do not say things are fine until you are truly capable of living with your soul mates pass. Forgive and you will be forgiven. If you do not know how to love, learn. Again, love is not controlling and never effected by one anyone does or says. Stay positive in all situations and strike a balance to not allow your lows to get to low, or highs to get to high. Will talk about trust and communication in another blog.
Yes, I am in unconditional love with the lady of my dreams and she is truly my soul mate. This all started when I learned to love myself. We all make mistakes and no one is perfect. Learn what it takes to make your partner happy and strive to spend quality time with each other. Just hearing my lady's voice brighten up my day! We never let the sun go down without working out our differences. Every morning is a new day!
