I've tried, over and over and it does nothing. It's not because it's "too long" is it? That shouldn't make any difference
You might want to try refreshing your browser to see if it's just a glitch. Just a thought. :-)
You're right that article length has nothing to do with the ability to publish. What's the exact problem you're having? You're hitting the publish button and the screen freezes? What's exactly happening?
It doesn't freeze. It just doesn't publish. I can save it as a draft. I just got done putting other new content up, straight into WP.
But I spent a long time getting all the pictures into this long one and really don't want to have to do it all over again...
Normally when you hit publish it will ask you to confirm it. If it’s saved as a draft I’d try closing out everything and then logging into your site again to try and publish it.
Not right now, but when I do, since they are upgrading the platform, that is usually one of the culprits!

Why is my new content not publishing?

When you click the blue button, you have to choose your site; the next screen allows you to choose whether a page or post and the author ID. Then, a green button shows up. Hit that, and you're published. This works for the WA site content area.
In wordpress, just hit publish. Update with future edits.
Length is not a problem.
I know how to do it. It's just not working.
Ended up just re-doing it straight into WP.
Took forever.
Oh, I am so sorry to hear :) Here, I have no issues.
You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh, and try again. Try the URL in a different browser or mobile device.

And, more specifically, does it help with SEO?
Hi - no, Google is looking for unique information that is not already published elsewhere.
So, if you repost a blog from another website, it will not rank highly.
Thanks, Diane.
I know it changes all the time, but didn't know where things were at with this these days.
You want to do your own knowledge & skills & not someone else brains ideas.
Write unique & quality content, it can help seo.
Don’t hired cheap writer ✍️ , I hired fews of them & lose hundred of usd dollars. But it disppointed.
Write ✍️ your own &. Use ChatGPT. & bing.
Researching & write ✍️. Then it index in google.
You can collect your unique affiliate link by clicking share, copying, or posting away.
If a website, I'd rather create my own unique compelling content vs sharing others' work.

Is re-posting other people's blog posts still a thing?
And, more specifically, does it help with SEO?
