From not indexed to Page 5 on google
I had written a new post on my website a couple of days back and was checking site rank using Jaxxy for the keyword. The site wasn't coming up anywhere on Jaxxy site rank and believe me it was a low competition keyword.
Avg search:48, QSR:19 and Jaxxy SEO of 100, so i thought why not go for this.
But after 2 days the page didn't come up anywhere, I know it has affiliate links but still it has to be somewhere.
Then today i went into google webmaster and submitted my post to google. Now after just 1 hr of submitting to google, i check Jaxxy and there it is right on page # 5 at position # 50.
Really happy and yes would like to suggest everyone with a new site, they might want to consider submitting manually to google webmaster every time you add a new post if you are not patient to wait for google to come and crawl!!

Do you have a sitemap submitted? You should not need to manually submit each new post if you do. Google will find it if you have a sitemap.

Well actually i do but somehow this post was not coming up as indexed on google. So i did it manually, will check again when i post something new.
Hmmm. That's interesting. Let me know what you find. I've not had an issue with stuff getting indexed, so I'm curious if I might start to see that behavior as well.
