Super Affiliate Challenge Update
I have to admit, I have not been doing great at this challenge.
First, I spent way too much time trying to come up with the perfect theme and in the end ditched it for something simpler. I wrote a little about that in my Divi experience post.
Then, I took too long again on a logo and again went with something really simple and I am not 100% sure I love it but I will figure that out later. I think it is better to just get started writing and have content getting ranked, I can work on the other stuff later little by little.
So my website is simple and easy, it is working for me now and if I want to I can change that at any time.
It did get me started on writing, although I did leave a lot of this until the last minute so I am still working on the posts. I tend to delay this and try to come up with the perfect post which turns into occasionally posting or never.
I didn't complete the 15 minutes in chat every day, I took weekends off but I did spend more time in chat than I usually do and it was enjoyable but I usually get on chat at about 3:00 am here (US) and it is not really too active at that time.
I didn't write on this blog weekly either, I really don't feel like I have much to say as I am still learning so much but I need to continue to work on that, it helps with overall writing abilities.
I didn't share to family and friends because I am not active on social media and felt it would be spammy to post about WA now when I have not posted in almost a year or more.
Things I did finish this challenge
The things I did finish in the challenge include working on your website tasks, making writing goals and learning Canva, which I decided not to use because I have done a lot of things in photoshop and find that easier.
I also came up with an enormous keyword list, so I have plenty of keywords to keep my busy writing for a while.
Goals through June
I am going to concentrate on mostly completing all of the next tasks in the SAC so I don't want to add too much beyond that goal but I do want to build a free website and make a weekly post about what I have learned for the week and how I implemented it, no sense taking the time to learn something and never use it, which I do too often. So simple achievable goals.
- All SAC tasks.
- Start a free website, siterubix, to see if it takes longer to make money.
- Write weekly about what I learned for the week and how I implemented it.

It is very difficult at times to focus, find a daily planner does help, but then you have to stick to it. Since I finished the SAC monthly challenge have ben a little lost to get organised again. No doubt it will just begin to fall into place again when month two will arrive.
Hi, Anita, it can be easy to end up all over the place, from what you have written you are raining things in and getting focused.
One of the keys can be to realize that we can not do everything at once, that was one of my breakthrough moments. I don't know if you have created a test site using one of your Site Rubix sites, they can be invaluable when it comes to trying things out with themes and plugins, we can get things looking good before letting them loose on our pride and joys, it can kind of remove that pressure as well, letting us concentrate on creating content.
Looks like you have some really good goals moving forward, you will do fine.

Great work Anita, you are learning that it's best to "ditch perfect." Nothing gets done that way. Write yor content first and foremost, then work on the "bells and whistles" slowly on your downtime.
