As of now WA has 16,291 people signed up. It is growing as I say. How did I get that figure?Just go to Kyle's profile. See his network. By the current growth rate, it may take another 16 days to double and then maybe the figure could go much beyond 100,000 by the year end.
I was trying to figure out, what if businesses are able to sustain themselves without needing an extra market? Where could that place be? The answer is right here - at WA. People need food, clothes and shelter to remain alive. Some need comfort, some need lavishness, some are keen observers and want peace, every kind of person is available here. So we have a whole market. Except food articles, where delivery may be an issue, every other thing should be available here!
The most important thing that comes to my mind is that each individual has a website and something to sell. So, by next year, say we have 100,000 sign ups. Among them, 10000 have their own websites, it is really cool. Out of the 10,000 websites, even if 100 people comment on each others blogs, the amount of traffic (provided niches are similar) coming into the blogs would be more than adequate. In short, WA has the potential of sustaining businesses single handedly.
In theory this sounds good, but I do not know the practicality of such a concept. Maybe some day some more things may come up!
