On my 3rd week here at WA, half way through lesson 4 still excited about learning as much as possible. I am a little behind on the lessons, last week was the worst storm to come through Texas in my life time and also my mothers. Were without electricity for 4 days the only thing that kept us warm was or oven, I was so glad that it was gas. On day 3 of no electricity one of our water pipes broke and lucky for me and my family I know plumbing and I had material to fix the broken line that same day. The bad part is that I was out there below 20 degrees fixing the water line, at that time I had notice that my neighbors water line was leaking but they were at a family members house so I was unable to notify them, but I did turn off there water to there house to stop the leak but not fix it. When they got back i let them know why I turned off there water and helped fix there broken pipe. I have been helping as many people as possible and charging for my service, family and friends and also some neighbors. Many people have been asking me why I am not charging them labor, my response If you have to ask you will never understand even if I try to explain. Sometimes its just the right thing to do, help someone in there time of need!

This is one of the many reasons why I like WA because people are willing to take the time and help when they can and if they can send you in the right direction to help you understand and also learn. Well back to my lessons I have some catching up to do.
