This was from our old house, it had 53 steps to get to the front door.
These are two chicks I found down the beach. They were separated, so I put them together so they wouldn't die alone.

Awww so sad for the birds, to experience any kind of death is very sentimental to me death is always a sad experience as I have experienced too much of it. Was there no nest nearby Angelak? Anyway beautiful sunset and you have captured it beautifully.

There was no nest that I could see but the two rangers came buy and took them and tried feeding the two birds. They lasted two days but at least we tried.
