Site Comments and Google
I cannot ever get over some of the ideas that Kyle and Carson develop here at Wealthy Affiliate. This last one which I also wrote a blog on is a “beast”. At lease based on what it is designed to do for its members.
Ranking in Google is a big thing because it gives you so much leverage over your competitors and those with the same niche. SEO is something every internet marketing or website owner should take much interest in your progress and your current status.
With that in mind, I have only one question which will confirm my previous statement and the promise of this added feature. I am only curious and it may be too early but I am going to ask this question anyway and hope that you respond yea or nay or have feedback.
The question is quite simple and that is; have anyone seem any difference in your ranking if you take part in this feature. Please share with us the extent of your progress.

I have so far only offered comments but have not yet asked others to comment on my own site.
I will do so when I have accumulated enough credits, and can "schedule" the feedback over a specific period of time to make it more "natural" for Google.

I trust Kyle and Carson know what they are up to. I did try it and I've yet to see any harm done. Anyway I find it relaxing as I'm not pressured to comment back as I've already paid for those comments earned. In fact many of us do experience comment 'bonus' ( we received more comments than we asked for).

The new comment feature started just a few days ago. It is early to say anything about effects.
I see my ranking is going down for pages which received comments. This looks worrying but perhaps accidental (usual) fluctuations. I would give it a couple of weeks.
I have seen my site on the first page of a search, on the second, and on a different search not at all.
Great to here! I just wondering if anybody was seeing any results. I also realize that it has been a short while. Thanks for your sharing!
Which feature, SEO?
SEO us not really a feature more so a process. Everyone that follows the training should be "using it".
And yes I am using it and ranked well and shortly after my site was up. You can check out my blog in my profile.

Let me qualify because i think you have missed interpret my question. Firs to use this feature "Site Comments" you must be a premium members. We check each other's website and make comments and hopefully this will help our ranking as all comments does.
Got it, I see it now in the title.
Here is my take on site comments ... I and many others have been doing this in the share threads. It does improve rank of n theory as comments and responses are part of Google ranking.
Here lies the problem Ihave noticed with the threads is that some folks don't understand how to leave onsite comments. Ive mentioned this in some previous posts.
What I see as the real benefit is from Site Comments is that firstly you MUST give to receive ... Thus was not the case with the sharing threads.
Secondly, the instructions are laid out well and moreover the comments are received before we as users even see them. This is excellent as it weeds out junk and ultimately will help those who are not the best at providing comments to learn how to.
And Google rankings will always benefit from comments and onsite interaction, as described.
Is there a way to trend thus and see actual results from comments - not that I am aware of.

I'd love to see more blogs like yours ... The Site Comment tool should be at the top of everyone's priority list. This tool is powerful in so many ways!

From my understanding of search engine optimization, I really think Wealthy Affiliate has an advantage here and I appreciate it so much.
If you'd like to waste money I challenge you, or anyone, to find another opportunity that is better that here at WA.
WA, which is actually our community, has a HUGE advantage in every aspect over any other program I know of or have wasted thousands of dollard on ... Including college. What a bunch of crap college was!
We are all in a great place here at WA .... But individually we are responsible for our own success.

Eric i especially 'liked' your comment because my assessment is exactly the same when you make a comparison with a so called official college. This is far more effective!
