Repeat Keep me From Defeat!
Being here at Wealthy Affiliate Community for almost 20 months pose a tremendous challenge for me. As I want to continue growing and striving in search of success. There are a countless number of possibilities when I examine my current growth.
Some of the questions which comes to mind are; should I reach out to other communities, should I add other communities to this one and keep it moving, should I back track at random by determining my struggles, or how can I get better and become the professional in which I want to be?
These are only a few of the questions that I have pondered since I finished the “boot camp” last lesson. Where and how should I proceed without time wasted and being in a confused state of mind?
Here at Wealthy Affiliate I have learned to apply order as in most project and endeavors demands. I have come to understand quite a few principles as well as terminology. So I am baffled as I do some sincere introspection and try to decide where or what shall I do.
There are a number are folks here at Wealthy Affiliate who have been here much longer then I have. Some have been here for several years and seem to be making money without an incline to move on.
This speak volume to me and also a tremendous statement which I must ask myself as well answer. The question is why do they continue to linger even though they may be making money already?
This takes a lot of humility within each of them. Some perhaps remain to past down what they know to new folks who join Wealthy Affiliate every day. There are others who doesn’t feel like they have all that it really take to go as far as they would like to go in the field of “Affiliate Marketing”. But here again there are those scholars who understand that the evolution of the internet is affecting all fields are online business; and so they too remain.
Perhaps the list of reasons could go on and on but by now you get my drift. So I think unless someone give me a good clue or avenue to travel, I will repeat the entire lesson plan in Wealthy Affiliate Boot Camp.
My admission is there are some things which I know but not as well as I should know. This cause me to come back to training which I have already taken. I reached the conclusion that I will repeat all of the courses and become a master of each technique or at least have great knowledge of it. This is the only true way for me to make real money and become a great coach also. And you say………..

What a wonderful spot you are in! That it gives you a great deal of choice to move forward where you really want to be. I know that a bit of time doing a repeat of lessons will make the future clear for you.

One of my goals when I finish with lessons is to repeat with lessons but also to get specialized in one field so I can help other members.

No never had any intentions to do that. the question was how long would I stay and if I had exhausted all that I could get. The answer is no and I want to convey this to young folks who are going to fast.
Yes, many of them are going too fast. They think that money will going faster in their pockets if they make fast progress through lessons.
Repeat is the answer, it is like in any sport, learn how to play, how to pass, how to dribble, how to shoot and repeat it.
I think you made the right decision to stay and go thru the boot camp course again. It can only solidify your knowledge and make you more comfortable in your own skin. Besides, what would we do without mentors like you whom we can turn to for advice and encouragement.

I love your honesty. I have many questions as well but have yet to complete the training. My brother is in the Computer field. (he writers programs). He scoffed at the mention of affiliate marketing. I believer that it's possible to succeed. It's directly related to the work put forth. I think you're on the right track. I believe in you. You will succeed. Best wishes.

I agree with some of your assessment. And I totally agree with your last paragraph. You must become a master... if coaching and teaching is your goal.
I have been here 3.6 years… You wonder why many of us stay here. We are here, but many of us also belong to communities outside of WA too. WE also like to give back what was given to us when we arrived here. And we have become very good friends and continue to consult and share ideas, experiences, successes, failures and life.
Also we have great respect for what Kyle and Carson have created here. The learning never stops as technology is always evolving. You will find after being here a while, there is tremendous support no matter how experienced you are. There is something new to learn every day. There is also the managing of your websites, customers, etc. It is wonderful to have a core of experienced people to share ideas or simply get input or opinions on various issues.
I say be the best you can be. Become the expert you envision being! You will get there. :)
Thank you because you seem to be just one of the many examples which i mentioned. Your longevity is for a good reason and no one have to tell me other wise. it just make sense. After 20 months of observation common sense is a must when it comes to rationalizing the long stays at wealthy affiliate. Thanks!
To me....you should NEVER stop learning....I am about to restat the entire training from square one. There have been many revisions and I would like to 'keep up'. It will also help immensely with the restructuring of one of my websites!

true dat...just kidding. I agree with you that you should master each step. The internet world keeps changing and to be in a community that share its knowledge is powerful thing. You can always learn more from other people. You will only grow more!
I tend to grow when i exchange thoughts and ideas with others. My stay here will be a prospering one.
