Does Google AdSense Makes Good Sense?

This really is not at all a rhetorical question but I am in search for answers as well as responses from those who have or have not reap success by using this method as one of their streams of income. As a newbie 20 months ago, just the name “Google” gave me hope and I therefore proceeded to qualify my website for Google to place ads on my site.

Any member who has met the criteria to be counted among the number who participates in Google AdSense will tell you it is not at all a breeze. I just could not seem to get everything they wanted correct and thereby I was not approved several times.

There was time that I felt like the program was there only for “gurus” and that perhaps I should stop pursuing it any longer. Yes negativity came and went as I do love a challenge but this was getting ridiculous. Scratching my head, I stayed steadfast and decided I wouldn’t let it whip me nor discourage me at the point of quitting.

Those countless number of emails I received informing me that I was not approved, really was quite painful and also mind boggling. Now I am wondering if Google AdSense make any sense at all? First let me say that yes after several attempts, I was approved and my sites begin to receive ads placed there by Google.

I quickly told my wife and you can only imagine the smile that was on my face for days. After all I worked extremely hard just to meet the requirements for all this to happen. All I could think and even told my wife “MONEY” “MONEY” “MONEY” J

I was already getting traffic and now a source as reliable as Google putting ads on my site should only add cream to my coffee, I thought. I hope you can understand as someone new, just how naïve we can all be at one point or another. Have you ever been there?

Well with months passed I still have not gotten even a $50.00 check for revenue. This does not deserve the hype that it get. Perhaps after one or two clicks it truly does but months later, you have to question whether this makes sense or not.

My question is at some point does things get better in this area or should I just really use this to supplement income from other methods such as affiliate marketing and other things that I somewhat see the opportunity of using this knowledge to perform?

Better yet should I waste my time on this nonsense which seems to make no sense called Google AdSense? With this tremendous community I am in hopes of getting a good survey and reviews which will assist me in making a wise decision? Pleasantly speak your mind, sharing your experience and thoughts.
