Organic Traffic in 1 Month Google Rules
1 month ago I started building a new website in Art niche http://yourartpath.com/ (my first!!!) So, I have written 9 posts in this past month... And there was no traffic whatsoever (which I'm used to by now) But today I noticed something interesting - 7 people came to visit my site from Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Your-Art-Path-127241971195781/ which has 2 likes only (me and my bf of course)... And 1 person got here with ORGANIC TRAFFIC FROM GOOGLE!!! That's so exciting for me! They visited 3 of my posts with an approximate duration of 49 seconds each (which is nothing but I'm still sooooooo happy!!)
Small things matter! Hopefully, when I write my next post in a month I will be able to share numbers that are a little more impressive LOL. However, this means that Google has ranked one of my posts and the system works! :)

I'm in the same boat as you. I started 2 months ago my website (lesdeuxpiedsdehors.com), in French. I'm up to 17 post for now, and i'm beginning to see some things too.
I have now a post in page 2 of Google after a week, so quite happy about that already and i have 28 people who cam from organic traffic from Google. It's a start :-)
As you said, small things do matter as they gave me the motivation i need sometimes to keep pushing in this direction, to keep writing post, to work on my SEO the best i can etc.

I guess this is good, I mean good enough for me. But I need to write more contents and work on my SEO to get my pages well ranked in google. Otherwise it's difficult to have some organic traffic ;-)
True true.... I mean for me too, 9 posts in 1 month is nothing :)) But hey, we are trying - so that should count for something!
