Overcoming Self-Doubt
I just wanted to take a minute and write about something that's been on my chest.
I've been a member here at WA now for about almost 2 months. In that time, I have learned SO MUCH! My website is up and running, it has been indexed by Google and I have even had one of my pages show up on page one Bing search. Still, I've been a little discouraged and really having some self-doubt.
I enjoy writing about my niche, and my site health is awesome, but sometimes I doubt myself and my ability to continue to create relevant and interesting content that people will actually want to read and interact with me about. I also doubt my abilities to figure out how to monetize my site and actually make a profit.
I have seen many posts and blogs written by people here who are seeing leaps and bounds of progress, and sometimes I feel like I'm not measuring up. But really, this is nothing new for me. I have always struggled with believing in myself. It's something I have been working on and will continue to work on every day.
I don't want to get things confused. I am not, by any means quitting or giving up. And I won't! I will keep on plugging away. I am proud of the progress I've made and I believe in the training. I know that if I stick with it I will eventually see success and therefore I will keep working hard

Hi Andy, I think I know what you are feeling, it seems to happen to me even though I have been here for almost 2 years.
I do know that it takes time to build a site that has great traffic and results in sales of whatever product you offer.
I have to keep reminding myself that success does not come instantaneously but as a result of continuous effort towards an end goal.
The old saying that "Rome wasn't built in a day" applies to our efforts.
Doubt may come but when it does dismiss it, turn your thoughts to your plan to create an online business. Remind yourself daily with positive thoughts.
When I have doubts I usually turn to some positive video on YouTube or some positive reading and the doubts flee away.

There is no measuring the amount of progress here. Your progress is exactly the amount you are supposed to have made.
I struggle with those feelings almost daily. But when I step back and examine the truth about WA I can't help but feel hope again!
Overcoming self-doubt is one great accomplishment!
