Merry Christmas

Yo ho ho

I would just like to wish all here a very happy Christmas, please note, I am using the correct term here by saying Christmas, after all Jesus IS the reason for the season. I am sorry if it offends some by me saying Christmas, but it is the birth of Christ we are celebrating!

personally I find it obnoxious when people say happy holidays...... what is that? In a world that is constantly trying to do away with God, probably because they don't want to give up their sins, or make any positive change in their life, I find it refreshing when someone says to me happy Christmas, that affirms to me that the whole world is not as nasty and corrupt like I sometimes suspect it is, but rather there are still some old school types that say and do the right thing.

My wife is a school teacher, and sometimes she comes home so disheartened by the lack of knowledge the kids have of anything God related, it is not the kids fault, but rather the lack of the parents to tell their kids about Christ, even when Christmas is a perfect opportunity, I suspect those parent just say "happy holidays"

Well, I would just like to say that the reason for the season is Jesus, the center point of all creation, even our calendar is split between BC and AD because of Jesus. The so called holiday season starts with thanksgiving, those who say "happy holiday" who are they giving thanks to on thanksgiving day? I sometimes think that most people just think of this time of year as a huge shopping spree and rarely ponder the true meaning of the season, and that's just a little sad, so to end on a high note, id like to tell you what Mrs Claus said to Santa when she looked up into the sky, looks like rain, dear!

So, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, and no more of this tepid happy holiday nonsense :-)

PS, Theresa May asked Santa for a home makeover this year. First thing on her list was a new cabinet :-)
