How to help the WA community

Overview

I am sitting here today reflecting on the lack of progress I have made with my Affiliate website and then I thought: I actually have done a lot, but the real issue of my non progress, boils down to consistency. And then I thought, how can I help the community with the abilities I do have right now.

I know we are all here for a many reasons, mostly to learn how to make an income form affiliate marketing, but I feel there are other reasons too. I would really like some input from the community, by adding to the list below, their reasons for being here at WA, so I can formulate a plan of what I can do to help the many wonderful people here move their sites to the next level.

My Reasons

Earn a income working from home
Gain knowledge about online marketing techniques
Be part of a community of like minded people
Meet and make new friends
Find a good reliable hosting platform
Learn how to write and maintain a website
Improve my communication skills
Help people with success techniques
Learn techniques of how to attract traffic to my site

I would really like to know your reason too. I feel I can offer help if I can understand why people are really here. You see I believe the success people are having with Online Marketing has a huge potential for producing residual income, money that comes in with a consistent but much less personal time input, than a regular job. Examples of residue income are:

Royalties from intellectual property, such as books and patents
Subscriptions, advertisements, donations or affiliate links from your blog or websites
Transferring the rights to a song you recorded, a book you wrote, a software program you created or a gadget you invented to a company agreeing to pay you a percentage of each copy of your work sold
A savings and investment program that earns interest
Purchasing an office or apartment building and leasing or renting out the properties
E-book sales
Stock photography royalties
Helping people earn an income and intern you get paid an ongoing commission for your personal time in helping them earn an income (Direct Sales & MLM)
Investing in the stock market

To have a life of time and personal freedom with no money problems is, I believe what most people are really after.

The real problem with achieving success

Most of us here would have a day job and my research tells me 52.3% of you are dissatisfied with your jobs (2104 Report by The Conference Board)

I am not here to promote doom and gloom, any of you who have taken the time to read any of my posts will know I am in no way like that. But what I do know is, the statistics relieve a trend that needs addressing if you are to find success not only here at WA, but with anything you decide to undertake.

We need to work on ourselves first and foremost otherwise there will always be some kind of fear based thinking that will get in the way. People really need to understand that we create our own lives and universes by what we put out focus on. Great thinking creates great results.

You must work on yourself first

As a Life Coach nearing certification, I find that most people live their life with limiting beliefs, and until they learn and understand why these beliefs exist and how they can overcome them, it is difficult for many to reach their full their potential as a professional Affiliate Marketer here at WA or anything else for that matter.

This is the norm

It would be interesting to know the stats on how many people who come to WA, actually make an income that can set them free. I would say less that 1%. That is extremely low, however that statistic rings true to most business, it is not just a WA problem. Now I must say in WA's defense, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. IE; WA provides all the resources to have a Affiliate Site that can produce good income if they follow the steps required to do so. I would say most come here with the right intention but in the end don't have the resolve to do what it takes. There are many reasons for this, but all in the end it comes back to what they focus their attention on in any moment. The great thing here is, even if you don't find the success you would like, most likely will gain knowledge you did not have before.

It would be interesting to know what retention rate WA has with their premium customers. With another business I work with we have a 95% month to month retention, I believe it is the highest in our industry. They means 95% of the people who shop with us this month, shop with us next month. Now, I not here to promote that business, I am just pointing a out a fact. I believe we can do an even better job of helping people move from the merry-go-round they are on now to the place they want to be.

So what is my intention with this post?

I would like to know if there are any other coaches or successful business people with the coaching and self development skills who would be interested in developing programs that would take WA to the next level. I think if the right people were willing to make an effort, I do know we are all busy, we could provide a service to help provide people with personal development skills to take them to the next level.

Don't get me wrong, I think the community that Klye and Carson have created here at WA is a credit to them, I feel their hearts are in the right place along with Ambassadors and other content providers like you, that have provided awesome content. I just think this site could really go to another level and become a truly complete system to help anyone build a Affiliate Marketing business that can be proud of, and so be a true global leader with a vision for their customers to be the best they can be. We could become a community that develops true leaders who come from a place of helping people become the best version of themselves.

What I know is this, all the knowledge in the world does not create success. Henry Ford has one on the best way of saying it.

"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success."
