Not sure if I am ready for more affiliate links

I followed the lessons in tutorial # 3 and signed up with Commision Junction. Then I started having problems with the product links, just didn't understand how to work them. Between HTML and URL it was very confusing for me and the videos in the tutorials didn't answer my questions. Thank God for the community on WA, several people tried to help me, the last one was a very nice person who actually made up some slides for me so I could follow the process better.

So, I finally got the product link from CJ to work, couldn't have done it without her help. Even though I felt accomplished I lost several weeks because it took that long to figure it out and I'm not on my laptop every day. I decided to concentrate on another post which I just finished and worry about other links later. I don't feel like my website is ready for a lot of links yet, I rather want to focus on more writing and start looking into how to write product reviews.

I have 10 articles so far and I think I will soon write another one.

Signing up for affiliate programs and trying to figure out their links just is too time- consuming when I rather want to get to the next lesson or write a post.

Since I lost so much time most likely I will loose Commission Junction as affiliate because I am not making any sales. I guess that's ok, hopefully I can sign up another time when I am more prepared.

CJ will kick you out if there are no sales in 6 months. Other networks aren't that hard to work with.....

The more content you create the better chance you have in making a sale for your site. There are other affiliate programs that you can join so don't worry about just one affiliate program.

My best advice to you is doing more research on affiliate programs and hook up with someone else and then put the links on your site.

I was confused about the links myself they didn't even work I called on Site Support and they helped me out. If you need help with the links I will help you just PM me.

You are doing fine and keep up the great work and don't worry.

Thank you Mary, I appreciate your advice!

You are so very welcome I hope that the advice helps you out.

When starting off it might be a good idea to just focus on content and get the hang of it. When you are more comfortable and adding content on a regular basis, then you can think about adding links.

Just my 5 cents.

CJ is only one option. Don't know your niche, but there is other options link clickbank and shareasale.

Keep rocking out that content. All will work out fine.
