Finding my way through the maze

Sometimes I think I'll never get done with the Entrepreneur training. There is sooo much information on the WA platform that I could get lost in it. Everyday I discover blogs that interest me and offer some new insides, or I am watching some other training video that somebody offered to watch. Or get sucked into somebody else's website. Or I get lost just browsing around on the Dashboard ... Does that happen to somebody else or is it just me?

But besides the training tutorials, I have been learning a lot of other things and gathering information, working on my website, writing an article which took a while. I guess the tutorials aren't everything. Sometimes I do learn more by asking a question and browsing around looking at other people's questions and answers. It's a labyrinth of information, it seems like it.

Well, I am taking one step at at time, one day at a time. That's all I can do

Wow, that is awesome thanks for this i was also in the same situation As Andrea now it is clear to me what to do.

I think my head was spinning for the first 4 months, Andrea!

Everything was so new to me, I wanted to read everything... literally! It took me a few months before the lightbulb went on, and I realized that I would always feel overwhelmed if I didn't get a grip!

So, I decided that when I scroll through my email notifications, I had to prioritize: referrals get my immediate attention, then anything directly related to my site; I respond to any comments from my WA posts third, welcome new members and followers, then scroll through any new posts or questions.

But here's the trick: I go through the list very quickly. If anything grabs my attention, I keep it. And, unlike before, if I didn't understand the title of the post, I trash it! Sounds harsh, but it's just too much for me to take in.

I fervently believe that I'll get exactly what I need exactly when I need it. Granted, there are days when I spend more time scrolling through the posts, but generally, I just give it a quick glance. It's a system I still use to this day. The one exception is if Kyle or Carson post something; even if I don;t understand it, I'll read it. I may not read it right away, but I'll star it for later.

And if I happened to miss a few days from being on the platform - instead of trying to "catch up" by reading most of what I missed, I just skim through it to save any comments directed to me and new followers, and I'll delete everything up until that day. So, let's say I hadn't been on the platform since Monday and its now Friday, I'll delete everything up until Friday. Seriously! I like maintaining my sanity, and I feel that this system is the best way to achieve that goal!

All the best in finding a system that works best for you, Andrea.

Thanks very much, Veronica, that's exactly how I feel sometimes. But you are right, I need to prioritize, and I have been trying to do that. It's not possible to read and understand everything I come across. And I do appreciate any type of advice that comes from people who have been with this longer.

It's all a progress, Andrea. Like I said, it took me many months before I came up with a system that worked for me. I have no doubt that you'll find one that works just right for you.
